  1. (regional, western Germany) to rumple (fabric, paper, etc.)
    Er hat das Papier geknüddelt und weggeworfen.
    He rumpled the paper and threw it away.
  2. (regional, western Germany) to stuff something somewhere (e.g. clothes in a bag) thereby causing it to rumple
    Wenn du dein Hemd so in die Tasche knüddelst, brauchst du's gar nicht mitzunehmen.
    If you stuff your shirt into the bag like this, you needn't even bother to take it with you.
