What I do here

edit

Most of my activity here consists of adding Russian lemmas that have been used personally to me or around me and have reasonable currency, but lack a clear, accessible, English-language dictionary entry or explanation on the internet, or simply lack one at all, so that English-speaking learners of Russian are not left in the dark upon inevitably seeing or hearing them. These often end up being colloquial or slang expressions. I also do this for missing definitions or idiomatic/collocation examples of this nature on existing entries, and I also add etymologies, usage notes, synonyms, derived terms, related terms, alternative forms, pronunciation/declension/conjugation notes etc. to existing entries. Besides adding content, I often clarify existing definitions or usage notes or make formatting more consistent across the wiki.
