editнея • (nejǫ́)
- Alternative spelling of нея̈ (nejǫ́); pre-1918 spelling of неё (nejó, genitive of the personal pronoun used after prepositions).
Usage notes
edit- нея (neja) is one of the few Russian terms in pre-1918 orthography in which a stressed я (ja) is pronounced like the letter ё (jo). It is therefore written with a diaeresis in a similar fashion: я̈ (jǫ).
