     Chen Yingke is the most prestigious historian in 20^th-century China. He is also considered the man who continued the lifeblood of Chinese culture. When he was alive, he requested that his works be published in vertical Traditional Chinese, so the publishing world respected his wishes and never published his works in Simplified Chinese.
