Originated in Hong Kong, where the controversy arose on who could sit on priority seats. Netizens compared some harsh reactions during the controversy to struggle sessions.

     Hong Kong is not the only place where priority seats have become "struggle seats". In South Korea, an elderly person kicked a man was sitting in a priority seat, and a 66-year-old was arrested for assaulting a 25-year-old woman who was sitting in a priority seat as well.
